SGJ Podcast #49: Seriously Spazzing Over S.P.A.Z. 2

Ohhhh Yeah!
Ohhhh Yeah!

Hey folks, welcome to this week’s episode of the Space Game Junkie Podcast! This week Jim and I sit down with Lead Programmer Andrew Hume and Lead Designer Richard Clifford of MinMax Games to talk about their recently announced piece of amazingness, Space Pirates and Zombies 2. It’s a lengthy podcast that I actually prepared for this time, so we ask a lot of questions and get a LOT of great info in return. :)

If you’d like to get in touch with us, leave a comment below or email us at hail@spacegamejunkie.com. We hope to start getting enough emails to read ’em on the show regularly. ;) Thanks for listening, and we hope you enjoy the show. :)

  1. When Brian says he “prepared for this podcast” he’s talking about the drinking he did before he got on the mic, I’m sure.

    1. Drinking before airing can be an important part of “being prepared” for a lot of performers. Now I know that I can tell how “prepared” Brian is by how slurred his speech is, and how often he completely loses track of where is was going with that thought…..

  2. Enjoyed this podcast thoroughly! Have the MinMax guys back to babble about their game theory and SPAZ as often as they want!!

  3. It really rang true when I heard “We’re bad business men.” Well, you can’t really count on a good businessman to make a good game, can you?

I had a problem using my alphafunding key from desura to activate on steam when it got the release. I sent MixMax an email about it, and they sent me a new key just like that. Turns out I was entering it wrong, so to make up for my mishap, I bought and sent some copies around.

Chime In!
