So I Accomplished Nothing Today…

Yup, that's about how I feel right now.

Arg!

So because I’m underemployed, I usually have a decent amount of time to dedicate to this site, and I’m enjoying finding news and working on content immensely. However, because of the theme breaking today, I got absolutely NOTHING done for this site today, and for that, I apologize. I hope to get back on track tomorrow with regular news, plus I’m in the process of reviewing two games (1972′s Star Trek and Really Big Sky) as well a preview of Starfarer. I hope to have more content for y’all soon, and I thank you for your patience and your patronage. :)

God Damned Theme…

Broken Theme

Blargh!

So the theme I was using, Mantra, had an update today. “Oohhh, yay!” I thought to myself, “This means it should have new features and such!” So I, of course, updated…and found much of my site broken. So now I’m trying to find a replacement for the moment, so please pardon the mess, or if the theme is one thing one moment and one thing the next. I’m experimenting. Thanks for your patience and your patronage.

Edit: Okay, found a workable theme for the time being. Sheesh.

Out of all of these, the only one I’ve not played is Chaser, but the rest are at least pretty decent (the best being SpaceForce Rogue Universe). Well hot damn diggidy dawg. The awesome people at Good Old Games have added the groundbreaking first two games in the Wing Commander saga to their already awesome cadre of amazing games.

While there’s no word on whether this includes the expansions to the games as well — likely not, since other EA releases on GoG like Wing Commander: Privateer and others are without their expansion packs — this is still an excellent way for folks who missed these games the first time around to experience them now. For $5.99, you really can’t go wrong, so snag these now and enjoy!
