Buzz Aldrin’s Space Program Manager – Gamifying Hope and Uncertainty

In Buzz Aldrin’s Space Program Manager, you manage a Soviet, American or Global space program through the earliest days of its program through to lunar missions and beyond. In this video, I go through the earliest days of the Global program to see how the game fares. The game puts a lot of choice in front of the player, but the choices aren’t always clear, and while the end result of launching a space probe was exciting, getting there could be a bit of a drudge. If you have an interest in space programs, financial or personnel management, this game will likely be right up your alley. Thanks for watching!

  1. I regret having purchased this on Steam when it left Early Access. The game doesn’t really feel done. There’s basics missing like no tooltips. The whole UI is rather ugly. All in all, so far I feel like BARIS is a far more pleasant experience than this.

    1. Welcome to the comments Adonius! And yeah, I understand your frustration. Did you play it before it was released?
