I played Star Ruler 2 quite a ways back when it first hit early access, and since then it’s had quite a bit of patching to bring it ever so closer to release. I therefore spent some time returning to the game in order to see how it feels, and my gosh does it feel great. The game feels fluid, fun, and is downright gorgeous, not to mention runs smooth as butter on a modest machine like mine. This is definitely a 4X to keep an eye out for.
