SGJ Podcast #173 – Dual Universe

I Want to Go To There…

Hello friends, and welcome to this week’s episode of the Space Game Junkie Podcast! This week, Jim, Hunter and I sit down with Jean-Christophe Baillie, Founder of Novaquark, to discuss their currently Kickstarting voxel-based and ambitious MMO, Dual Universe. There’s a ton of good info here, as both Jim and Hunter — as well as folks in our chat rooms — get in a lot of great questions regarding both the technical and gameplay aspects of the game. It’s a very fun and lively topic that covers the game’s engine, its capabilities as to how it affects the gameplay and much more. Take a listen! :)

Next week on the show, we’ll be talking to the lead developer on the amazing mod/total conversion for Freespace 2 which might as well be called Freespace 3, Blue Planet. If you have any questions or comments, please leave a comment, email us at hail@spacegamejunkie.com or hit us up on the forums. Thanks so much for listening/watching, and enjoy the show!
