Noice!

Hey y’all, welcome to another rant! Not a ton to talk about today. Today’s video of Star Merchant was fun, but nothing big happened. Still, it’s an enjoyable little pass time that I can see myself returning to.

Battle for Orion 2 is out today. Since it appears to be a 1.0 release, I’m gonna have to make it next week’s game of the week and bump Renegade down a couple of weeks. I’m a tad sad about that, but whuddyagonnado? These games aren’t gonna cover themselves. ;) Also in the news today, a maaaassive patch for Endless Space 2 that looks just delightful. It’s apparently many gigs in size, so I can’t wait to try it out.

Last night I barely played anything. I was able to get into the beta of Starfighter Origins, so all I had time to do is set up my HOTAS and do some quick test flights. It’s nice to see someone working on an honest-to-goodness space sim. It’s also nice that it recognizes multiple USB devices, so it had no problem seeing my stick, throttle and pedals. I’ll be diving into that this weekend I think.

Much of my minute amount of gaming time last night, however, was dedicated to testing tonight’s game, Mechwarrior: Living Legends. I was able to run it and fiddle with it, but I’ve no idea what I’m doing, so tonight should be funny for you guys, if nothing else. It really looks nice though, and the maps are huge, so it seems to have a lot going for it.

That’s it for today y’all. Thanks for reading, and have a good one.!
