Spacey Game News and Deals – 11/6/12

Hey y’all, happy Tuesday, and here in the U.S., happy election day!! I hope all my U.S. friends who are eligible went out and voted, regardless of party or platform. ;) Now let me get off my soapbox and serve up some news for y’all. :)

• In case y’all missed it in the earlier post, David Braben tells Eurogamer that screenshots and video for Elite: Dangerous are coming.
• In Strike Suit Zero news, over on Kickstarter they have another mini-interview with their team, and over on Gamespy they’ve given the game a quick look. :)
• On the official Star Citizen site, they have new issues of “Tales of the Crimson Kid” and “Cassandra’s Tears” for your reading pleasure.
• There’s a new dev blog for Eve Online that talks about balancing, battlecruisers and more.
• Finally, on the Beyond Beyaan blog, Brent states he’s added demo assets to the source control. I don’t know what that means.

In deal news, over on Steam, you can get Lunar Flight (or as I like to call it, the “awesome low gravity crashing simulator” ;) for $4.99 until November 12th. Finally, in non-gamey news, the Concept Ships blog has some awesome art from Francis Tsai.
