Rethinking the News…

So. Much. News.

So folks, I have to be honest…trying to do these news digest posts is becoming a bit overwhelming. When I first began doing them I had more time and…well, there was less news to talk about. Now it’s this AWESOME BARRAGE of news about games big and small, and I’m having trouble keeping up. Personally, I want to focus my time on creating original content for the site rather than reposting other people’s news, yet I still want to keep you (and me, truly) informed about what’s going on in the space game world, so I have a couple of ideas:

  • I crease a separate news feed page here on the site (which I’m still figuring out) which will be simple links to posts from other sites, which will save me a lot of time.
  • I post most news pieces to the subreddit with larger pieces going on the blog.
  • I post most news pieces to the Twitter account, with larger pieces going on the blog.

What do you guys think of those? I’m also open to ideas as well, so hit me with ’em if you got ’em. Thanks!

Edit: Welp, I’m working on a hybrid solution. Here’s an embedded news page that uses the RSS feed from the SpaceGameJunkie Sub-Reddit, so you can go there for news instead of Reddit if you’d like.
