Off-Topic: Uuuuugh, but Yaaaay!

Hey y’all, how’s your Sunday going? Me? I was planning on being all sorts of productive today. Was gonna do another Rules of Engagement 2 video, play some more Sword of the Stars II since it was apparently given the all-clear and so on, so I’d have some more content for y’all.

Then I got food poisoning, courtesy of a local Burger King (we were in a hurry and it was on our way last night). So INSTEAD, my day has been made up of bouts of groaning, lack of sleep and other things I won’t trouble y’all with. Suffice it to say, content may be delayed a spell while I get over this. Just wanted to keep y’all in the loop and such, since y’all are awesome and insanely important to me. :) That’s the “Ugh” column.

In the YAY column, I happened to get a PS2 last week. Thing is, I never owned a PS2, as I felt for years that console games were beneath me. When I got a PS3, that totally changed, and I kept hearing about these amazing games that came out for the PS2, some I’d also played on a friend’s Xbox back in the day (such as Test Drive: Eve of Destruction) that I REALLY wanted to play again. A co-worker gave me his original model, but I ended up killing it whilst trying to clean it, so I then got a PS2.

And all I can play is Burnout Revenge. So, so good. I’m not gonna let the PS2 get in the way of playing games for this blog, I just wanted to share some good news.

So there ya have it, a bout of food poisoning and some great console action. What a weird freaking day. How’s your day going? :)
