Hey y’all, funny story. A little while back I saw that a spacey game called Zigfrak was on sale on Desura, so I figured I’d chip in and support the author, and put on my coming soon list for an upcoming preview. A week or so later, I got an email from the author of the game with a code I could use on Desura for a free copy, which I thought was REALLY nice. :)
Since I already had a copy of the game, however, I asked him if I could use it for a promotion, and he agreed. So what kind of promotion? The first idea that came to my mind was…A POETRY CONTEST! ;)
If you’d like to try to win a free copy of Zigfrak, what I’d like you to do is write a poem about space games. It could be why you love them in general, an experience you had playing one, your favorite space game, and so on. You can either leave your entry in the comments here or contact me directly with them. Keep in mind however that whoever wins, I’ll be sharing all of the poems publicly for everyone’s enjoyment. :)
The winning poem will be chosen based on a very scientific formula. ;) Actually I’ll be choosing the winner based on which one I feel conveys the author’s message the best. The contest starts now and ends in a week, on 3/6, so take your time to come up with something awesome. Thanks as always for reading, and good luck!
