Let’s Play TIE Fighter – Entry 28 – The TIE Defender Feels Goooooood

In my advance through the TIE Fighter campaign, we once again return to one of the last (not THE last, as I mistakingly believed) TIE Avenger plant. After spending the last two missions rescuing it and preventing it from being retaken or destroyed, we’re now protecting its resupply as personnel and equipment are flown in. Naturally, the devious rebels won’t just sit still for such an operation, so they throw quite a bit of firepower at us, including several Corellian Corvettes, tons of B-Wings and Y-Wings and so on. Thankfully, the TIE Defender can handle it, and I’m once again reminded why she’s one of my favorite fighters in all of space gaming.
