Is Eating Laser Death Enough...?
It finally happened. Usually I’m fine with grind in a game if I feel like I’m making appreciable progress toward a goal (which in this case, is to get a better ship). However, in the case of Starpoint Gemini 2, I sadly feel like I’ve been spinning my wheel too fast for too long, and sadly have reached a point where I feel I need to put the game aside as it’s no longer fun or engaging anymore. Maybe after a break, or some new content gets released, I’ll return to it, but for now, I’m shelving Starpoint Gemini 2. It’s a shame, really. If they actually put new ships within a reasonable amount of reach, and made missions more varied and exciting, I’d like be playing this until the cow’s came home (Freelancer achieved this balance quite well), but as it is, I just don’t feel compelled to continue. Thanks for watching this series, and I hope to one day return to it.
