GoFundMe Page Launched to Save Wing Commander Academy Materials

Hey friends, just saw this one pop onto my feed and thought y’all might like to check it out. Ben Lensik — currently working on Star Citizen — has found thirty boxes of Wing Commander Academy artwork, and he’s launched a GoFundMe page to help preserve it all. Here’s a clip:

Archiving Wing Commander material is a subject that’s very near and dear to us here at the CIC. From the University of Texas to EA Mythic and dozens of other projects , we’ve been on a mission to preserve Wing Commander history for nearly two decades.

Head on over to the GoFundMe page and chip in if you can. Preserving materials like these are vital to preserving the history of our beloved hobby.
