What’s Coming Up This Week (4/10/17)

Hey friends, welcome to another week of spacey gaming! After taking the week off, I’m back on the horse with a new game of the week and a teeensy bit more. This week’s game is the really fun and fantaastic high-level territorial conquest simulation, After the Empire. I also spent some time with Starfighter Origins, which comes out next week and…it might need a smidge more time in the oven.

This week on the podcast (Tuesday, 5:30 PM Pacific, Twitch, YouTube, Beam, Hitbox), we keep looking at games we either love or like, so now it’s time to look at a game I hate, the dreaded and awful Starfleet Academy. We’ll use it as a jumping off point to discuss what so much of Star Trek gaming gets wrong, and what it can get right.

This Thursday, for Multiplayer Madness (Thursday, 5:30 PM Pacific, Twitch, YouTube, Beam, Hitbox), we’ll be — by request — returning to Space Hulk: Deathwing as apparently they’ve made quite a few improvements since release.

Thanks y’all!
