Ten years. Sounds like a lot, doesn’t it? Thousands of days, hundreds of thousands of minutes. A lot can happen in that time, for sure. When I launched Space Game Junkie ten years ago — with a review of Space Pirates and Zombies, I might add — I had no idea it would become what it is today. I originally intended it to be a blog about playing classic space games, since so few were coming out, nor had come out for years.
Now, though, it’s an amazing community across several channels, along with a podcast and thousands of hours of video recorded and streamed. Very few things in my life have lasted this long (i.e. primary and secondary education, a couple of relationships, Supernatural…), but even fewer things have given me the amount of joy that this community has given me.
Thank you for being here for however long you’ve been here, and I hope to see y’all in another ten years.
