SGJ Podcast #506 – The Games of 2025

SpaceBourne 2 is Just One of the Many Amazing Games That Dropped in 2025

Welcome, my friends, to our last show of 2025, and what a year it’s been for gaming! For example, my curator page’s best of list for this year is longer than any other year since I began keeping lists!

On the topic of games of 2024, this week, Spaz, Julie, Thorston, Jacob, and I look back at this amazing year of gaming and pick our best and worst games of the year. There were a few surprises among our choices, but honestly, if you know us at all, these choices shouldn’t be that surprising. What, to me, was the biggest surprise was the three-way tie for space game of the year between Spaz, Thorsten, and me! Check out the list below!

We’ll see you back here on January 14th, 2026 for our next episode! May you all have a lovely holiday season and a joyous new year, and we’ll see y’all in 2026! As always, if you have any questions or comments, please drop them in the comments below, email us at hail@spacegamejunkie.com or hit us up on the forums.
