SGJ Podcast #449 – The Expectations of In-Game Information

Remember These Things?

Hey friends, welcome to the show this week! Sorry it’s a day late, yesterday got away from me for a variety of reasons. This week, Spaz, Julie, Thorston, Jacob, David and I have a lively debate about how much information should be given to the player in a given game. The fun thing is, we never come to a consensus! It might be the most nuanced topic we’ve ever covered, so strap in!

Next week, to bounce off this topic, we’ll talk about good onboarding and mention some games we feel do a great job of it. As always, if you have any questions or comments, please drop them in the comments below, email us at hail@spacegamejunkie.com, or hit us up on the forums.
