SGJ Podcast #169 – Planet Nomads

So. Pretty.

Welcome to this episode of the Space Game Junkie Podcast my friends! This week, I (sans Jim and Hunter, since it was an early morning show to accomidate our overseas guests) sit down with Daniel Maslovsky (Community and Marketing) and Thomas Poppek (Lead Programmer) at Craneballs in the Czech Republic to discuss their upcoming survival, combat and exploration game, Planet Nomads. After a rocky start due to some technical issues (the laptop our guests were using to talk to me via Skype died, like, one minute before airtime…but hey, at least it wasn’t Skype’s fault this time, right? ;), we get down to brass tacks and talk about the game, the long road to early access next year, managing expectations and much more. Overall it was a really fun show!

Next week on the show, I’d offered a potential guest the date, but they never got back to me, SOOOO we’re gonna talk about expansions and expectations, along with talking some EVE Online after the big news they’ll be going Free to Play, of a sort. If you have any questions or comments about this episode, please feel free to drop them below, email us at hail@spacegamejunkie.com or hit us up on the forums. Thanks for listening, and we hope you enjoy the show! :)
