Starlight Inception Takes Off, but Needs a Kickstarter

I Like the Look of This...

Apparently ANOTHER new spacey game has been announced today (gotta love Games Press). This one, entitled Starlight Inceptionis a first and third-person space shooter taking place 100 years from now after World War IV erupts. The game includes “combat both in space and on planets and moons, interplanetary exploration, and multiplayer dogfighting”. It’s also being put together by LucasArts alum Garry Gaber, who was project lead on Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds and Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns.

While the game looks cool, the kicker (hurr hurr) is that it’s also launched  a Kickstarter campaign to get the funding to make the game happen. It certainly looks like a pretty cool game, so I know I’ll be kicking some money its way. Kickstarter’s kind of been a boon for space games, and it doesn’t need to stop now. :)
