Skyjacker Kickstarter Begun – LOTR+GTA+NFS in Space?

So apparently there’s this game called Skyjacker that’s been in development for a little while — sadly I’d never heard of it until today — and they just launched a Kickstarter campaign. Based on their Kickstarter page…

SKYJACKER is:

• LOTR by its gaming atmosphere of space saga
• GTA by its criminal background and freedom of choice inside the game
• NFS by its energy and gameplay dynamics, and ability to customize the vehicle

And all of them together, transferred to space.

Interesting way to describe a space game. This all apparently means its huge and epic, has a lot of player choice, and fast-paced gameplay. Based on the videos on their homepage — one of which I’ll put after the cut — the combat does look pretty fun, so check it out! :) Enjoy!
