Freeware Battlestar Galactica Viper Sim Diaspora Released

GAH, I HATE Basestars!

You know who I love? My readers. If I’m too busy to find a new spacey game on my own, I can count on you guys to help me out by letting me know. You guys rock my socks. :) That being said, thanks to the email from Marc, the comment from Captain Kal and TurinTur’s thread on Quarter to Three for letting me know that a new Freespace 2 powered freeware game, Diaspora, has been released. You can also read more about it on Reddit (thanks Marc for the link).

This is a freeware Viper sim based on the latest iteration of Battlestar Galactica, and will apparently be released in episodic chunks, which I’m fine with if it helps them maintain a high level of quality. I’m gonna be trying this soon, so stay tuned for impressions. If you’ve played it, what do you think? Enjoy!
