Steam Greenlight Launches with Plenty of Space Games to Vote On!

Go! Vote! :)

Edit 2: Hey guys, sorry about the edit, but in an effort to keep this as simple as possible (thanks Bryan for the idea), I’ve created collections for all the space games I find on Steam Greenlight. There’s an all-inclusive list which has every space game I can find, and a recommended list covering games I actually have experience with. Hope this helps make Greenlight a bit easier to deal with!

Edit 1: To keep this post from getting too long, I’ve moved new entries to this forum thread, so I encourage folks to head over to the forum and add any to the list not already there. Thanks!

Steam has finally launched Greenlight, their way to let new games onto Steam by having folks vote on them. I’ve gone through the list, and I’ve found a lot of spacey games, including:

These were all the ones I’ve been able to find, at least. If you see more, let me know and I’ll add them to the list. Now go and vote, dangit! ;)

  1. Thanks for the shout-out for Salvation Prophecy. I’ve had my eye on a couple of these other games too, hoping at least a few gather steam.

    1. Welcome to the blog, Jabberwocky, and you’re welcome! :) I’m all about supporting the indies. :)

      1. If you get a chance, feel free to add Salvation Prophecy to your steam list. :)

  2. Perhaps you should consider creating a Collection on Steam Greenlight. You seem to have a certain amount of respect among space game fans. They might appreciate a collection of space games that have your approval. It can be pretty difficult at present wading through all the games on Greenlight.

    1. Welcome to the blog Bryan, and thanks for the kind words. I had no idea anyone could make a collection, but here’s one already. Is that what you had in mind, or would you like one I’d personally approve of?

      1. Thanks for the welcome. Yeah, I’ve seen the “Greenlight Spaaace! Bundle”. That’s pretty nice, but yes, it would be cool to see you post one of your own that includes games you think are worth upvoting. Plus, it would help get your blog a little more exposure, especially if you include the URL in the collection’s description. :)

        1. Great idea, I’ll create 2, one for everything and one for games I can vouch for.

            1. Thanks man, the recommended one is up as well. :) Thanks again for the idea. :)
