Site Stuff: Testing New Gallery

Gallery
If Only My Gallery was This Nice. ;)

Hey y’all, I need some opinions from ya. :) I’ve updated to the latest version of WordPress, and it has a new gallery thingy. Now, I actually really like this gallery because it gives a decent amount of options, like seeing larger versions of pics, commenting on individual pics, etc. It’s a bit different than the Fancybox Gallery plugin I’ve been using, which I like it a lot too, but there are some caveats.

With the Fancy Gallery plugin, each pic, no matter whether it was in a gallery or embedded in the body of the story, popped up through the gallery. With the new built-in system, images embedded into the body of the story link directly to the larger image and that’s it. No fancy pop-up or gallery thingy, forcing users to hit the back button to return to the story. I’m less fond of this, honestly, but I still like the other stuff the WordPress gallery is doing enough to give it a whirl.

So this is where you come on. I’d like to know what y’all think of this new gallery system, and whether it’s worth keeping or not. While I have my own opinion, this site is as much for you guys as it is for me. :) Therefore, if y’all could go to some reviews or previews, which have a lot of images, and test this new system out, and then let me know what you think in the comments, I’d be truly grateful. Thanks for your help in advance, and have an awesome day! :)
