Hey guys and gals, I FINALLY got this nonsense working, and can now bring you Let’s Play videos for Star Wars: TIE Fighter, starting with this one. :) Here I go through two missions in the first battle, the Battle for Hoth, mostly just to test things out and see how it all works. I’d like to think it came together pretty well, and I hope y’all enjoy it. :) If y’all have any critiques as well, I’d be happy to hear ‘em, as I wanna make these as awesome as possible. :) Thanks!
In returning to TIE Fighter, I found myself in a mission flying an Assault Gunboat with a buncha A-Wings. Guess how well THAT went…
After a short break, I return to TIE Fighter with new knowledge, so let’s see how I fare. ;) Enjoy!
Freaking A-Hole Wings…
And we’re back with another installment in my Let’s Play TIE Fighter series. Wheee! This time I make more progress than I anticipated. I mean sure, it’s two whole missions, but still. ;) Enjoy!
Love Them Torpedoes…
In this entry into my look at Star Wars: TIE Fighter, I play Battle 2, Mission 2, “The Sepan Civil War, Mission #2: Intercept Attack” twice. Why twice? Because I, for some reason, didn’t/couldn’t keep track of what was going on on the battlefield, and paid the price. I therefore HAD to try again. ;) Enjoy!
Damn You ABLE 3!!!
Welcome to my latest entry in my Let’s Play TIE Fighter series! In this video, I play two missions:
The Sepan Civil War, Mission #3: Rescue War Refugees
The Sepan Civil War, Mission #4: Capture Enemies
In which I succeed at both, but hilariously so. ;) Take a look at the screenshot to get an idea as to why the first one cracked me up. ;) In the second mission, they give me a freaking Gunboat. Yay. ;)
I hope you enjoy this latest entry, and thank you for visiting. :)
Again With the Y-Wings…
Welcome to my latest installment of Let’s Play TIE Fighter! Here I finish the last mission of the second battle, or campaign, called Guard Resupply. In this mission, I’m tasked with helping bring in some new TIE Advanced, but things get a bit hairy as I soon find myself without any wingmen. Enjoy! ;)
Inspector Alpha 1 On the Job…
Welcome back to my Let’s Play TIE Fighter series! In this entry, we play a slightly boring mission involving inspecting cargo containers to get the parts for a base we want to build. In this first mission of Battle III, “Load Base Equipment” — wow, even the NAME is boring — I am joined by my girlfriend Nicole. This is part of an experiment to see if this would be funny/entertaining, so I hope it is. :) Enjoy!
When Torpedoes Collide…
In the hopes of hopefully showing my girlfriend Nicole that TIE Fighter can actually be exciting, I show her a couple more missions of Battle 3 in TIE Fighter, Missions 2 (Destroy Pirate Outpost) and 3 (Hold Position). Things go pretty well…sort of…;) Please enjoy this video, and next time we’ll try to make the vid shorter I swear. ;)
A-Wings Aren’t So Horrible in a TIE Bomber…
First they give me an Assault Gunboat. Sigh, I say, but I’ll take it. THEN they give me a freaking TIE Bomber. What? Do they hate me? Do they WANT me to hate my job? C’mon Empire, you got more ships than this.
Yeah, I do two missions this time — sorry about the video length, the first mission was so short I figured I could fit two in — in Battle 3 all about the horribly-dull named NL-1 space station. The missions are:
- Battle 3, Mission 4: Guard Space Station NL-1
- Battle 3, Mission 5: Thrawn Inspects NL-1
And they end up being more fun than I expected, given the crap nature of the ships I get to fly. Please enjoy this latest installment of my look into TIE Fighter.
